The Massachusetts Staffing Association, MSA, as it is known in the industry, is a not-for-profit association representing companies who provide staffing services in Massachusetts. MSA is the Massachusetts industry resource for information, education/training, and representation. It was established in the mid 1960’s under the name of Association of Temporary Services of Massachusetts.
MSA members are companies committed to the industry and to maintaining the highest possible standards in it. They have embraced the association’s code of ethics and represent the best in staffing services.
The Massachusetts Staffing Association is committed to providing its membership:
Legislative Advocacy: To represent the Staffing Industry by exerting collective influence in matters of mutual concern and by advocating beneficial legislation
Education: To provide ongoing and current education to meet the continuing needs of the MSA membership
Ethics: To promote and maintain high standards of services and business integrity through the dissemination, application and enforcement of the MSA Code of Ethics and Good Business Practices.
Public Relations: To raise the visibility of MSA to employer clients and the public as a reliable source of information and thereby increase their understanding of the role of the staffing professional
MSA offers two levels of involvement in the association: Members and Industry Partners. Members are staffing firms that operate or place positions in the Massachusetts. Industry Partners are selected companies that provide services or products for the staffing industry.
